Greetings Bland Community Families

A quarter of the year is almost gone, and we are still standing strong. The Executive Board continues to perform the duties to sustain our organization.  Here are the following updates:


Cruising in 2025

It’s not too late! If you are planning to cruise with us, be sure to book and pay your fees by April 1st. 

Prices start at approx. $670 for the 3 day cruise, this includes all meals and non-alcoholic drinks.

Time:  11:00a – 3:00p

BCF Scholarship

The BCF, Inc. scholarship application is due soon! The deadline is June 1st .

Please have your application postmarked by June 1, 2025.

Remember to follow the instructions.

The application is available at www.bcfinc.org/scholarship. You may email   bland.community@yahoo.com or mail the application . To qualify for the scholarship  you  must be:

•        Current dues paying member

•        Registered for class and/or attending a continuing education program.

•        At least 25 hours of volunteer time in the past year.   i.e. attend BCF meeting, worked on a committee, performed  community service


Organize and Mobilize

Join us in participating in the 2025 Economic Blackouts! This significant event aims to raise awareness about the pressing issues, such as DEI policy rollbacks, facing our economy and to advocate for systemic changes that promote sustainability, equity, and social justice.
